Description
BDO Talent Management have partnered with a client in the Hospitality industry. They are looking for a Senior Payroll Processor to manage the operation of multiple payrolls across Ireland & UK, paying over 4,500 employees per week and ensuring timely & accurate service delivery across multiple locations. Please note this role will be based in County Cork, Ireland (hybrid).
Key Responsibilities
1. To assist in managing the day to day running of the payroll department which includes weekly and monthly payroll runs.
2. Co-ordinate the administration of the company employee deductions across Ireland & UK, including statutory deductions, Pensions, SAYE, and LTIP.
3. Manage and coordinate Audit requests.
4. Assist with Tax Year End activities for all payrolls.
5. Ensure new team members receive adequate training regarding payroll systems and processes.
6. Assist in implementing business acquisitions as well as new property openings in Ireland, UK, and Europe.
7. Establish clear and consistent channels of communication with both internal and external stakeholders, working closely with these stakeholders on payroll-related tasks and projects.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
1. 5+ years of Ireland / UK professional payroll experience; EMEA experience would be an advantage.
2. Previous supervisory experience is necessary.
3. Demonstrates expertise using payroll systems; Megapay experience is a distinct advantage.
4. Strong knowledge of Ireland & UK payroll legislation ensuring company compliance.
5. Experience in auditing and reconciling payrolls.
6. Previous experience in company mergers and acquisitions is an advantage.
7. Payroll Technician qualification (IPASS / CIPP) or equivalent experience desirable but not essential.
