Job Overview:
The Sales & Marketing Executive will play a pivotal role in driving the business forward by identifying new sales opportunities and managing existing client relationships. This role requires a proactive, target-driven individual with a passion for hospitality, particularly in the areas of weddings, corporate events, and tour groups.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Development:
o Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the hospitality industry.
o Generate leads and convert them into sales for weddings, corporate events, and tour groups.
o Manage and nurture existing client relationships to maximize repeat business.
o Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential clients.
* Marketing Strategy:
o Assist in the development and implementation of the company's marketing strategy.
o Coordinate marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and print.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and content tailored to specific target audiences.
o Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities.
* Event Coordination:
o Work closely with the events team to ensure seamless delivery of weddings, corporate events, and tour group activities.
o Liaise with clients to understand their needs and tailor proposals to meet their expectations.
o Attend events as needed to ensure client satisfaction and successful event execution.
* Market Research:
o Conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities in the hospitality sector.
o Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
* Experience:
o Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Sales & Marketing role within the hospitality industry.
o Proven track record in driving sales, particularly in weddings, corporate events, and tour groups.
* Skills:
o Strong sales and negotiation skills with a results-oriented mindset.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
o Knowledge of digital marketing tools and strategies.
* Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
