Job Title: Epic Willow Analyst - Hybrid
We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Willow Analyst to join our team in Letterkenny. As an Epic Willow Analyst, you will be responsible for providing expertise and experience in the design, build, and testing of Epic products related to Willow.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide technical expertise and experience in designing, building, and testing Epic products related to Willow.
* Collaborate with end-users to design and build the Epic system in a timely and professional manner.
* Lead small to medium complexity Epic software upgrade initiatives or enhancements.
* Participate in design and validation sessions and ensure appropriate documentation and issue escalation occur.
* Provide technical and/or clinical consultation, including application configuration and review.
* Develop, support, and maintain all required system design and build documents and other system documentation.
* Perform daily monitoring of applications in production use.
* Actively participate in all phases of the testing lifecycle and perform unit, system, and integrated testing tasks and activities.
* Provide support of application incidents reported through the help desk.
* Obtain and maintain in-depth knowledge of software functionality and acquire knowledge of operational workflows.
* Perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with Epic software.
* Work with trainers to develop and maintain application-specific training curriculum and materials.
* Translate business requirements into functional specifications and manage changes to specifications.
* Adhere to organization standards for system configuration and change control.
* Develop strong relationships with end-user communities, customers, and business partners.
* Facilitate communication with stakeholders from initial requirements to final implementation.
* Troubleshoot and/or resolve application issues and escalate more complex issues as appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
* Degree required (e.g., Associate, Bachelor, Master) or minimum proven years of healthcare experience.
* Active/Epic certification in at least one area (Willow, Beacon) and strong Epic experience.
* Direct client healthcare domain knowledge (clinical documentation workflow, patient portal, closing encounters, patient flow).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Ability to demonstrate and have a history of team management, cross-team communication, and leadership skills.
* Experience in department build and implementing community connect locations.
* Proficiency with Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
* Experience mentoring individuals or teams within the system.
* Knowledge and experience using basic and intermediate project management tools and techniques.
* Ability to handle multiple client assignments and communicate with all stakeholders involved.
* Ability to communicate tactfully and work effectively with patients, physicians, vendors, and system staff at all levels.
* Capable to lead and work well in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team.
