As part of the Consulting business unit, we offer governance, risk management, compliance, and assurance services to our expanding client base in Ireland and internationally. The Operational Resilience leader role is a new position within our team, working with a Partner to grow market share and revenues, and build a new team to meet emerging demands.
The leader will act as a subject matter expert in Operational Resilience, leveraging knowledge and experience to address client problems and shape solutions. They will identify and build trusted relationships with clients and internal peers, understanding their needs and priorities to deliver Operational Resilience services. The leader will ensure consistent delivery of high-quality work products by EY teams, enhancing our global brand, reputation, and purpose. They will lead presentations and proposals focused on winning new work and providing subject matter insights for bids and proposals, creating innovative commercial insights for clients, adapting methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership.
The leader will also assist in client account management activities, including recruitment of their team, managing financial aspects of client engagements, and quality and risk management. They will identify and build valued relationships with clients and colleagues to generate new business opportunities for EY, communicate effectively with EY senior management, and work to build, manage, and motivate high-performing teams. The leader will understand EY's service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve our clients, support team development activities, including coaching, mentoring, conducting performance reviews, and contributing to performance feedback, and contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting, retaining, and training activities.
To qualify for the role, the leader must have 15 to 20+ years' experience in Operational Resilience (or related Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery domains) in consulting, industry, or the public sector, extensive knowledge and experience of standards and regulatory landscape, including DORA, Critical Entities Directive, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, and other relevant frameworks, a proven track record in delivering Operational Resilience/BCM projects, experience in leading and growing high-performing teams, excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with a track record in managing complex stakeholder programmes, and a good understanding of project governance and change management principles.
