The Opportunity
The Privacy Roadmap Manager will oversee the development, execution, and management of our organisational privacy roadmap. This role is crucial in our efforts to boost maturity and awareness of Privacy in the organisation. It will drive cross-functional collaboration and align privacy initiatives with business objectives. The ideal candidate will combine strong project management skills with knowledge of privacy and an understanding of what makes a successful privacy programme.
Responsibilities
Project manage Privacy roadmap activities, ensuring delivery against agreed timelines
Co-ordinate activities with Privacy team and collaborators
Implement and review Privacy by Design model, in collaboration with Group Privacy Officer
Help promote a robust Privacy culture within ESW by crafting and delivering appropriate training to business teams on key Privacy provisions / requirements
Respond to day-to-day business queries and support Product/ Tech/ Architecture teams in taking ownership of fundamental Privacy activities such as risk assessments and remediation
Design, iterate, and provide regular Roadmap reporting metrics to the Group Privacy Officer and relevant ESW and Asendia collaborator committees
Contribute to iterations of the Privacy strategy and transform strategic objectives into yearly roadmap activities
Provide education to the business on how to interpret requirements of global Privacy laws, particularly GDPR and e-Privacy laws
Scan market for relevant trends regarding tooling, case law, regulatory strategies, as well as new or changing legislation
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Law, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years’ experience working in data protection / privacy related projects within technology, e-commerce or retail environments
Proven project management experience, with demonstrable record of delivery in fast-paced environments
In-depth knowledge of GDPR (CIPP/E qualification preferred), e-Privacy laws, and ideally global Privacy regulations
Strong ability to co-ordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Demonstrated competence in promoting Privacy culture through training and ongoing support
Strong communication skills for advising and guiding teams on Privacy laws
Experience in providing regular reporting metrics
Ambitious in scanning and implementing market trends and regulatory updates
