Job Description:
The Business Development Manager will sell electrical products into the growing renewable energy sector. This role is focused on new business development, targeting specialist installers, M&E contractors/consultants, and residential developers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and secure new business opportunities within the renewable energy sector
* Develop and maintain relationships with specialist installers, M&E contractors, consultants, and residential developers
* Promote and sell a range of electrical products, offering tailored solutions to meet client needs
* Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals
* Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to track performance against targets
Requirements:
* Proven experience in B2B sales (experience in the electrical industry is preferred)
* A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong focus on new business development
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work independently while managing a territory and sales pipeline effectively
* A background in electrical or related technical industries is an advantage but not essential
