Function:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Logistics Supervisor is responsible for the efficient and effective movement of material through the factory. This role is a key member of the team responsible for delivering all targets & metrics within the assigned areas.
The Role
1. Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
2. Manage the flow of all material from supplier to customer
3. Ensure inventory accuracy in the factory is maintained above 95%
4. Develop and maintain systems to ensure stock count and location accuracy factory wide
5. Develop, maintain and execute cycle count and physical inventory schedules with the Warehouse and production locations
6. Lead and organize the Warehouse/Shipping Team in a busy and adaptive environment
7. Collaborate with Production Supervisors and Team Leads to implement a lean strategy with respect to stocking and delivery of inventory
8. Manage and level the workload of the team to ensure all tasks are completed within a reasonable agreed timeframe
9. Conduct performance reviews & regular check ins as per company policy
10. Lead and develop the Gemba morning meeting program
11. Develop and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure efficient and accurate movement of material at all times
12. Ensure adequate training is provided to all staff
13. Maintain staff overtime within an agreed level
14. Lead and manage the development of the operator levels program
15. Plan and lead inventory cost down and efficiency projects
16. Develop and maintain systems to ensure labelling accuracy
17. Develop and maintain systems to ensure correct paperwork accompanies inbound and outbound freight in an agreed timeframe (Working towards a paperless system)
18. Develop and Maintain Outside processing Management (OPM) systems
19. Develop and Maintain Consignment Stock (CS) systems
20. Develop and Maintain KANBAN stock systems
21. Manage warehouse space efficiently and effectively
22. Plan and execute stock obsolescence efficiently and effectively
23. Work together effectively with the wider Lisk Team to ensure timely resolution of issues
24. Develop, maintain and report on inventory and warehouse KPIs
25. Provide physical support to operatives during busy periods and during periods of planned or unplanned absence
26. Plan, provide data driven justification and seek approval for additional cover as required

Education & Experience:
1. Minimum of a Level 7 degree in a relevant discipline
2. Minimum 3 years of experience working in a relevant role
3. Minimum 3 years’ experience in team planning and organization
4. Demonstrative experience in people management and development
5. Forklift and Pallet Truck certification is a key requirement (Ongoing certification training will be provided)
6. Project Management Skills is a key advantage
7. Six Sigma Black/Green Belt qualification is a key advantage
8. Experience with similar ERP systems control is a key advantage
9. Fully motivated to achieve & demonstrate best practices in line with the department objectives
