Job Title: Quality TechnologistLocation: BantryJob Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: Negotiable, depending on experienceResponsibilities:Ensure adherence to the Food Safety HACCP plan at all times.Conduct product, process, packaging, and hygiene checks.Review and verify labelling compliance.Complete and maintain quality documentation.Address and resolve non-conformances effectively.Maintain quality standards, including procedures and documentation control.Report all irregularities promptly.Review and file production check sheets.Assist with customer and regulatory visits as well as BRC/customer audits.Control and manage non-conforming materials.Perform metal detection checks.Report to the Quality Manager on quality-related matters.Support the upkeep and maintenance of internal and external standards.Ensure the site maintains the highest level of hygiene.Assist with site visits and inspections.Skills and Competencies:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong teamwork abilities and collaboration skills.Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.Proficiency in IT, particularly Microsoft Excel (SAP knowledge is an advantage).Flexibility to adapt to business needs.Well organised with the ability to perform under pressure.Minimum Requirements / Experience:Diploma/Degree in a relevant discipline.Previous experience in quality is desirable but not essential.Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.Training and educational opportunities are provided to support career development
