Our complete waste management service incorporates the collection and safe disposal of solid and liquid waste. The company employs over 80 team members.
Reports to: The Human Resources Executive will report to the Human Resources Business Partner.
Responsibilities: Oversee the daily administrative duties of the Human Resources department.
Support managers in all aspects of team management, including recruitment, training, probation and performance management, employee engagement, development, and talent planning.
Manage and monitor the recruitment process, including advertising, screening, selection, and onboarding.
Ensure new employees receive all necessary documentation and training, providing a positive and professional onboarding experience.
Maintain up-to-date and compliant employee files, striving for a paperless HR department.
Ensure compliance with statutory training requirements and coordinate necessary refresher training.
Schedule and coordinate training sessions as needed.
Assist managers in managing grievance and disciplinary processes, ensuring fair and timely procedures, and consulting with the HRBP as required.
Submit weekly payroll updates to the payroll department each week.
Implement and deliver company-wide HR projects and initiatives, such as well-being programs, inclusion and diversity, performance management, exit interviews and internal communications.
Monitor and manage absenteeism.
Education & Skills/Competencies Required: A qualification in Human Resources Management or be in the process of obtaining one.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in an HR role or department.
Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and best practices.
Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
Proficient in Microsoft office and technology.
Leadership and conflict management skills.
