Site Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction of our multi-unit residential project in Tuam, Co Galway. This role will also involve occasional travel to another site in Ennis, Co Clare.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Supervise sites, employees, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
* Manage and deliver project programme and procurement needs in conjunction with the procurement and QS team.
* Ensure projects are delivered as per the agreed scope.
* Maintain accurate documentation on site, including full management of the H&S file.
* E nsure all H&S measures are in place to safely deliver any project and maintain the highest standards of H&S management.
* Manage communication of the project through necessary channels.
* Take overall responsibility for managing quality on site and delivering the highest possible standards of quality for all projects.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience as a Site Manager, ideally in the residential sector.
* A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar would be highly beneficial but not essential. Candidates with a trade background will also be considered.
* Keen eye for detail to ensure projects are achieving the required quality.
* Ability to ensure successful delivery of projects, including programme management, procurement delivery, while keeping a firm eye on quality.
* Always ensuring health and safety is paramount.
* Ability to work independently.
* Self-motivated, ambitious, and dedicated.
* Analytical and decision-making skills.
* Proficient with the MS Office suite.
Remuneration Package:
A strong remuneration package is available for the right candidate, with a salary estimated at €80,000 - €100,000 per annum based on industry standards.
