Purchase Ledger Administrator Opportunity at the Moriarty Group, Palmerstown, Dublin 20.
The Moriarty Group is an Irish owned company involved in both the Retail Grocery and Hospitality Industries.
The companys portfolio currently comprises of three large Super Valu Supermarkets in Balbriggan and Skerries in North County Dublin and Palmerstown, Dublin 20.
The company also owns two 4* Hotels, the Bracken Court Hotel, Balbriggan, North County Dublin and the Courtyard Hotel, Leixlip, Co. Kildare.
The company currently employees approximately 550 people.
We are currently seeking to recruit an experience Purchase Ledger Administrator to work as part of our Finance Team based in our Head Office in Palmerstown, Dublin 20.
The Role: This is a part-time position working and average of 22-25 hours per week over 3-4 days (we can be flexible in how the weekly hours are worked e.g.
full days, mornings, afternoons or a mixture of these).
The successful candidate must be able to take full responsibility and ownership for their duties and be able to work on their own initiative as well as within the finance team.
Duties: Full responsibility for purchase ledger and all associated reconciliations Procure Wizard experience preferred but not necessary as training can be given.
Process Accounts Payable invoices Reconcile Accounts Payable statements.
Monthly and ad hoc payment runs Clearing supplier queries Dealing with customer queries - POD's, statements, price queries Liaising with Management, Stores and Hotel teams to solve queries.
Creating new customer accounts Credit control tasks Meeting monthly deadlines for month end accounts Adhoc office tasks Requirements: Experience with Exchequer accounts an advantage but not essential 2-3 years experience in a similar role is essential.
Good IT skills Good attention to detail Strong communication skills Strong people skills Good organization skills Excellent phone skills Strong customer care skills as the successful candidate will be managing queries from suppliers and companys within our Group.
Must have an excellent command of the English language both written and verbal.
