Location: Park Inn by Radisson, Shannon Airport
Park Inn by Radisson, Shannon Airport is ideally located just steps from the main terminal building of Shannon International Airport. The hotel is well-located for airport travellers or those visiting the nearby business parks. Limerick is 20 km from Park Inn Shannon Airport.
We are now seeking to hire a part time Front Office Receptionist to join our team.
Our Front Office Receptionist is the first person that a guest meets on arrival to the Hotel, therefore it is of utmost importance that all staff present a friendly and professional image to our guests at all times.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
1. Greet and welcome our guests to the hotel and act as a first point of contact.
2. Register the guests and take payment.
3. Answer any queries the guest may have on in house facilities and tourist information.
4. Take responsibility for the security of the keys.
5. Update all guest information in the computer and ensure all documentation is completed, managed and maintained accurately and efficiently.
6. Take and confirm reservations for our guests.
7. Manage the reception area for the business and handle a high volume of calls and emails.
8. Liaise with colleagues, management and external stakeholders as required.
9. Other related ad-hoc administrative tasks where necessary.
Requirements
About The Role
1. Excellent customer care skills.
2. Experience in a similar role is an advantage.
3. Be able to work on your own initiative.
4. Highly organised with excellent attention-to-detail.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Be able to cope well under pressure and comfortable in a busy environment dealing with a range of different tasks.
7. Flexible and adaptable to support the business needs with a positive attitude.
8. The role will operate 5 days over 7 on a shift basis and include weekends.
Experience
1. Previous Hotel Front Desk experience is desired for this role but not essential.
2. Strong communication skills both verbal and written are essential.
