Role Brief:
As Director of Product Innovation, you will take full ownership of our product portfolio, driving scalable success through exceptional leadership and execution. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, ensuring every product meets customer needs, aligns with our strategic vision, and delivers measurable business impact. This role will focus on building robust, efficient processes that empower the team to excel while maintaining the flexibility to adapt to opportunities as they arise.Your leadership will play a critical role in optimising our existing product portfolio, rationalising and refining offerings to maximise value, while ensuring seamless delivery of an ambitious product roadmap. You will inspire cross-functional collaboration, enabling a culture of innovation, excellence, and customer focus.
Responsibilities:
Product Vision and ExecutionTake full accountability for delivering the product roadmap, ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence.Establish and embed structured processes for managing the entire product lifecycle, from concept to delivery, iteration, and retirement.Continuously assess and adapt product strategies to remain competitive and meet evolving customer needs.Portfolio Management and OptimisationEvaluate and refine the existing product portfolio, rationalising offerings to ensure every product contributes to organisational goals.Lead efforts to consolidate, enhance, or retire products, balancing innovation with efficiency and resource allocation.Leadership and Team EmpowermentBuild and inspire a high-performing product team, fostering a collaborative and outcomes-focused culture.Develop and mentor team members, ensuring clarity of purpose, accountability, and professional growth.Internal Collaboration and Stakeholder AlignmentWork closely with internal teams—including Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success—to ensure alignment, clear communication, and flawless execution.Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality outcomes while responding to shifting priorities and opportunities.Scalable Systems and Continuous ImprovementImplement and optimise scalable processes and tools that enhance efficiency without sacrificing agility or responsiveness.Leverage data, insights, and structured frameworks to drive decision-making, improve performance, and create a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Required Experience:Proven leadership experience in product management, including full lifecycle ownership of successful products.Strong track record of scaling product operations and optimising portfolios in fast-paced, high-growth environments.Demonstrated ability to deliver ambitious product roadmaps, balancing customer needs with business priorities.Experience fostering collaboration across diverse internal teams, with exceptional communication and organisational skills.
