We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join our client, a leading food manufacturer in County Longford, for a maternity cover contract.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and maintain HR strategies aligned with the company's business goals.
* Manage the full-cycle recruitment process to meet immediate and long-term staffing needs.
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation by developing and maintaining policies and procedures.
* Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and supervisors.
* Oversee the appraisal process, pay structures, and employee benefits.
* Maintain accurate employee records and generate HR reports on key metrics such as turnover and absenteeism.
* Identify training needs and design effective development programs to support employee growth.
* Collaborate on health and wellbeing initiatives, rewards programs, and succession planning.
* Promote a positive workplace culture through proactive employee engagement practices.
About You
Qualifications: A third-level degree in HR or CIPD qualification is preferred, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
Experience: Proven track record as a HR professional, ideally in a fast-paced or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR systems, employment law, and compliance.
Skills: Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
