The position impacts upon the accuracy of the company's measurement and process equipment and subsequent product quality.
Therefore, is essential to meeting quality systems requirements and other compliance requirements.As Calibration Tech, your areas of responsibilities will include:Calibration Services: Perform calibration and adjustment procedures on various measurement instruments used to measure pressure, temperature, humidity, flow, mass, and other devices.Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of calibration activities, including calibration certificates, calibration procedures, test results, and equipment history.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with measurement equipment, both mechanical and electronic, and implement corrective actions to ensure proper functionality.Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control and assurance teams to ensure that calibrated instruments meet established specifications and standards.
Participate in audits to verify compliance with industry regulations.Testing and Validation: Perform testing and validation of new equipment and instruments to ensure they meet required standards before being put into service.Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, including production, engineering, and quality control, to address calibration-related issues and provide technical support.Calibration Standards: Stay current with industry trends, calibration standards, and technological advancements.
Recommend updates to calibration procedures and protocols to maintain compliance.Training: Provide training to users on proper handling and care of calibrated equipment.
Educate staff on the importance of accurate measurements and the calibration process.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEA relevant third level qualification in Engineering/ Science.
