Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrator to support our sales team and ensure smooth operations within the department. The Sales Administrator will play a vital role in coordinating sales activities, managing customer relationships, and processing sales orders efficiently. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the sales team by managing administrative tasks, including order processing, quotations, and customer correspondence.
* Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and pricing information.
* Coordinate with internal departments such as engineering, production, and finance to ensure timely order fulfilment.
* Respond to customer inquiries, provide product information, and assist with technical documentation as needed.
* Assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for management review.
* Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure product availability.
* Schedule meetings, prepare sales presentations, and support the sales team in contract negotiations.
* Assist in marketing and promotional activities, including trade shows, events, and customer outreach.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the overall efficiency of the sales department.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
* Proven experience in sales administration, customer service, or a related role, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
* Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), and sales reporting tools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and internal teams.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of mechanical engineering, automation, or industrial products is an advantage.
