Working as part of our daytime team in Ballyporeen, Tipperary, you will be responsible for implementing care programs and occupational pursuits that cater to the diverse needs of our service users.

The successful candidate will have a strong focus on building long-term relationships with our service users, based on the Social Pedagogy model of care and practice. This involves working collaboratively with parents and carers, ensuring that all care practices comply with relevant childcare legislation.

Our client operates three Registered Children's Residential centers in South Tipperary, providing a family-style environment where young people can live safely and engage in activities and programs tailored to their needs. As a Primary Activity Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering these services, including:

* Developing and implementing care programs that meet the unique needs of each service user

* Participating in education programs, leisure activities, and holidays as required

* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for our service users

To be considered for this rewarding role, candidates must possess:

* A minimum level 7 qualification in Social Care or Social Care Studies

* Previous work experience in a similar setting is desirable

* Student experience in social care is also considered

* A full clean driver's license

* Knowledge of HIQA standards

* Eligibility to work in Ireland
