Main Purpose of the Job:
To ensure that customers are served efficiently and that orders are served accurately and with courtesy to the standards required by the Company.
Reporting Structure:
You will report to The Food & Beverage Manager, Restaurant Manager, Bar Manager, Duty Manager (or such person as designated by management).

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Ensure that you receive a handover briefing at the beginning of your shift to ensure that you are aware of any events or special requirements for the day.
* Maintain the highest levels of hygiene and keep the food and beverage service areas clean and tidy at all times.
* Greet customers in a welcoming manner and seat them where appropriate.
* Maintain a presence in the room regardless of how few customers there are during service and carry a tray at all times.
* Take orders promptly and clearly and ensure correct till operations are adhered to.
* Check frequently that guests are content with meal/beverage/service and provide polite and courteous attention.
* Ensure tables are always free of unnecessary crockery, cutlery, sauces etc.
* Assist in documenting quality standards and adhering to these standards at all times.
* Maintain a close working relationship with the Kitchen Team.
* Achieve comprehensive knowledge of all elements of the food and beverage product to communicate this product effectively to the customer.
* Provide efficient service with minimum fuss or delay.
* Perform daily cleaning duties, including sweeping, hovering, mopping of floors, cleaning equipment, and carrying out extra duties as required.
* Comply with all relevant legislation relating to weights and measures, licensing, and under-age drinking at all times.
* Adhere to purchasing and stock control systems and procedures in place.
* Complete a thorough handover with the on-coming shift and complete any checklists, reports, and tasks.
* Assist in developing, maintaining, and implementing recorded training for F&B team members.
