About the role
ORS is a market leader in the role of assigned certifier. Since the introduction of BC(A)R 2014, we have a dedicated assigned certifier team of experienced chartered engineers and surveyors working on some of Ireland’s most prestigious construction projects. This role will suit candidates with extensive site supervision experience across multiple sectors. The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing drawings and specifications, inspecting construction work, identifying defects, monitoring progress and reporting from engineers, architects, and clients.
About you
You will liaise with senior engineers, architects, contractors, and any other stakeholders to ensure that all team projects are of the highest quality and standard. You will ensure compliance with contract drawings and specifications. You will assist the senior members of the Fire Safety team with project coordination, reporting and building inspections.
Skills & experiences
- 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a consultancy
- Experience with site inspections, reviewing drawings and specifications
- Excellent knowledge of building regulations
- Familiarity with BCAR
- Self-motivated.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and design software.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction & engineering principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
