Job Title: Engineering Supervisor
Location: Limerick, Permanent
Salary: €60,000 to €70,000
The MPD (Maintenance Package Development) team ensures timely development and delivery of accurate, complete maintenance packages. The Team Leader oversees daily operations, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support.
* Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging continuous improvement and professional development.
* Conduct regular meetings and informal check-ins with team members.
* Act as the client's point of contact for the MPD Lead.
Project Coordination and Oversight:
* Oversee daily operations, ensuring all tasks are completed as planned.
* Coordinate with Site Engineering, Maintenance, and Process Owners.
* Monitor project timelines and milestones.
Deliverable Management:
* Coordinate execution and delivery of key components: Maintenance Assessments, PMs, Calibrations, Spare Parts Loader, Location Loader, Asset Loader.
* Validate and verify the accuracy, completeness, and quality of maintenance packages.
Communication and Reporting:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day activities.
* Prepare and present regular status reports.
* Ensure effective communication within the team and other departments.
Continuous Improvement:
* Identify opportunities for process improvements.
* Implement best practices to enhance team performance and project outcomes.
* Stay updated with industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Education: Level 8 degree in Engineering discipline or related field.
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years in maintenance engineering or similar role, with at least 2 years in leadership or supervisory position.
Technical Skills:
* Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling, reliability-centered maintenance, and failure modes and effects analysis.
* Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
* Understanding of calibration processes and spare parts management.
Leadership Skills:
* Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Soft Skills:
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Collaborative mindset with ability to build strong working relationships.
