As an automation specialist, we have been providing custom designed automation solutions to leading manufacturing companies globally since 2005 and have a proven track record of providing innovative and flexible solutions through a strong emphasis on enhancing productivity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the delivery of a portfolio of projects.
2. Full accountability of all aspects of project delivery from project kick-off phase to customer support of installed machines. This includes ensuring the customer User Requirement Specifications (URS) are delivered to the customer's satisfaction, delivering documentation suite including quality, safety, and end user documents, driving timelines to deliver solutions within the contracted timeframes, ensuring project milestones are achieved within the budgeted resource allocations, and working closely with the Management Team to overcome resourcing and planning conflicts between projects.
3. Coordinate cross-functional teams (Design, Controls, Debug, and Workshop teams) to manage prioritization of tasks, manage the development of schedules for each delivery phase, critically review and resolve planning/delivery issues as they arise, and set out and drive project roadmaps to completion.
4. Provide problem-solving support to each of the teams during the project to ensure quick resolutions to technical issues, maintain a strong understanding of key areas of the ongoing functional and technical challenges of each project, and escalate problems as necessary in a timely manner to ensure deadlines are maintained.
Key Requirements:
1. Educated to degree level in a relevant Engineering/Project Management discipline.
2. Relevant experience in a similar role required.
3. Proven track record of ownership and delivery of commitments.
4. A self-starter with good attention to detail in an engineering environment.
5. Proven track record in problem solving and delivering complex engineering projects.
6. Demonstrates an ability to take initiative and be innovative.
