Global Privacy Operations is the central processing team responsible for supporting the resolution of inquiries or complaints regarding privacy policies and practices for the Meta family of products.Our team is motivated by providing best in class, integrated privacy support solutions and creating an excellent community experience for our users. You'll use data-driven techniques, industry-leading workforce management, advanced process improvement and legal and policy expertise to ensure that we comply with Meta’s regulatory obligations, while facilitating requests from our stakeholders.As one of our team's managers you will be responsible for managing a team of Privacy Ops Specialists and Program Managers who provide privacy expertise and operational privacy support for Meta’s products and data protection and competition legal frameworks. Initially, you will directly lead parts of our team’s daily operational strategy and over time, you will be expected to develop the growth of the team and influence our general strategic direction.
Global Privacy Operations Manager Responsibilities
Setting roadmaps, designing and implementing scalable operational strategy.
As a people leader, provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of your team while removing roadblocks and encouraging innovative solutions.
You will use data-driven strategies and well-defined KPIs to measure your team's success, identify trends, optimise team workflows, and drive improvements
You will be able to provide clear and concise status updates to executive leadership and represent our team’s work across a variety of XFN groups across legal, product, operations and compliance.
Our team operates in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment that is fast-paced and agile. You will also need to support the team in navigating through ambiguity and imparting your program management and leadership skills to help the development of scalable solutions for our partners and for our team.
Establish and track team goals for your responsible vertical and work with the Global Privacy Ops managers and team members on strategies for executing, measuring progress, and communicating results
Leverage skills across cross-functional teams to move roadblocks and empower individuals to execute and deliver results on initiatives that drive goals forward while mitigating competing incentives and risk
Minimum Qualifications
Extensive experience setting operational strategy in a high growth environment
Significant practical experience in operations, legal, audit, integrity, safety or policy
Experience in end-to-end project management, product, business strategy audit, and/or operations
Experience in leading operational or support teams with people management responsibilities
Practical compliance experience (legal, compliance, program management or academic)
Familiarity developing scalable operational solutions
Experience mentoring independent performers and actively creating opportunities for growth
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building out high performing teams with multiple career growth pathways
CIPP or other other recognized Privacy certification
Experience managing multiple concurrent interactions with geographically disparate teams
Experience applying privacy practices and policies in a business environment
Experience supporting and managing Audits
