About Your New Job
As a Site Manager, you will play a key role in the operation and maintenance of renewable energy sites, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and hydrogen electrolysis plants. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of these sites, overseeing contractors, managing site safety, and responding to operational issues.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Leading the mobilization of new renewable energy sites, ensuring all safety, environmental, and operational policies are in place.
* Managing onsite operations, including safety, maintenance schedules, and compliance with regulations.
* Acting as the primary point of contact for site operations, coordinating maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and responding to alarms.
* Supervising contractors and ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies.
* Supporting asset optimization, budget management, and long-term operational planning.
* Participating in on-call duty to respond to critical site incidents outside normal working hours.
What Skills You Need to Become Site Manager:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in the operation and maintenance of generation plants, wind farms, or similar facilities.
* A technical or engineering qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* A strong focus on safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
* Experience with computerized control systems and maintenance management systems (CMMS).
