We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Pharmacy Talent Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in attracting, hiring and retaining pharmacists for our retail pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will not only focus on recruitment but also play a key role in evolving and shaping our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to differentiate us from other retail pharmacies in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract qualified pharmacists.
2. Utilise various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events and partnerships with pharmacy schools.
3. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings and best practices in pharmacy recruitment.
4. Analyse recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of hiring strategies and make data driven recommendations.
Candidate Screening and Selection
1. Conduct thorough screening and interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, skills and cultural fit.
2. Collaborate with hiring managers and regulatory stakeholders to define job requirements and create compelling job descriptions.
Employee Value Proposition
1. Collaborate with HR, Retail TABP, and leadership to evolve and communicate our EVP, highlighting what sets us apart from competitors.
2. Gather and analyse employee feedback to identify areas for improvement in the workplace culture and benefits.
Brand Ambassador
1. Act as a brand ambassador for the company, promoting our values, culture and career opportunities at job fairs, pharmacy schools, industry events and through online platforms.
2. Create engaging content for recruitment marketing, including social media posts, videos and testimonials from current employees.
Onboarding and Retention
1. Oversee the onboarding process for new pharmacists to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
2. Develop and implement retention strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and reduce turnover.
Stakeholder Engagement
1. Work closely with pharmacy operations, regulatory team, HR, marketing teams to align recruitment efforts and business goals.
2. Foster relationships with educational institutions, professional organisations and community groups to build a talent pipeline.
Key Skills & Experiences
1. Proven experience in recruitment, preferably in the pharmacy healthcare sector.
2. Strong understanding of the pharmacy profession and the retail pharmacy landscape.
3. Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
4. Ability to think strategically and creatively to enhance the EVP and recruitment process.
