The Automatic Test Equipmentstrategy within instrumentation has a focus on delivering high performance solutions enabling the production test of all electrical and electronic equipment from high speed microprocessors to high voltage EV battery systems. We collaborate directly with customers to define cutting edge stimulus and measurement solutions optimising measurement accuracy, improving energy efficiency and test time andincreasing channel density delivering unique capabilities for ATE.
The Switch and Multiplexer strategy is part of ATE with responsibility to deliver precision switching needs servicing a broad range of customers both within Instrumentation and beyond. ADI has a leading portfolio in precision switching solutions with over 250 products targeting multiple applications.
The Position:
The ATE/SMX team are currently seeking an Analog/Mixed signal IC design engineer to work as part of our global design team to deliver system level solutions meeting the challenges of the rapidly growing ATE market as the demand for testing capability intensifies driven by the electrification megatrend.
The successful candidate will be working on cutting edge new products with exposure to the full range of precision technology spanningconverters, references, amplifiers and switches.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Work collaboratively with customers to help define new products
2. Analog/Mixed signal designand integration of sub-systems within large ATE solution programs
3. Work with applications, marketing, backend teams (eval, test) and support groups(foundry, assembly, reliability, failure analysis etc.)to successfully bring a product to market on schedule
Qualifications/Experience:
The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of Electronics, be self-motivated, willing to accept responsibility, and show initiative in identifying and solving challenging technical problems:
4. Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
5. Ideally have 3+ years ofexperience working in analog/mixed-signal electronics.
6. Experience inanalog/mixed signalIC design
7. Experience with Amplifiers, voltage references, High Voltage would be an advantage
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and flexibility to full-filldifferent roles within the team as the projects evolve.
9. Strong teamwork, inter-personal and communication skills.
