We're National Broadband Ireland and we're delivering the largest telecommunications project that Ireland has ever seen. We're designing, building and operating Ireland's new, high-speed wholesale broadband network under the National Broadband Plan. Our aim is to radically transform the country's broadband landscape through the delivery of quality, affordable high-speed broadband to all parts of Ireland where such services are not available commercially.
The NBI™ network using a combination of State subsidy and commercial investment will deliver high-speed broadband to over 1.1 million people and over 554,000 premises in Ireland. No matter how remote or rural, no town, village or community will be left behind. NBI will be responsible for the management of the new national broadband network for the next 25 years.

Key Objectives / Accountabilities
National Broadband Ireland is looking for a Project Risk Administrator to help coordinate the documentation and reporting of project risks within National Broadband Ireland-Deployment (NBID), that part of the organisation tasked with the design and build of the network.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Be the primary point of contact for project risk information within NBID.
2. Assist risk owners in documenting project risk information in the required manner.
3. Schedule / participate in departmental, project, and one-on-one meetings as required.
4. Co-ordinate the updating of project risk information on a bi-weekly or monthly basis as required.
5. Ensure that the risk register is accurate and correctly formatted.
6. Ensure that project risk reports are prepared in a timely manner and issued in accordance with project requirements.
7. Assist with the collation and synthesis of project risk information to aid the preparation of summary risk reports.
8. Provide support to the risk function within our sister organisation National Broadband Ireland-Infrastructure (NBII)
9. Represent NBID on cross functional Risk and Compliance Management Committee
Knowledge & Experience:
10. 5+ years experience in a project / risk administration related role
11. Familiarisation with one of the key project management methodologies e.g., PMBOK, Prince2.
12. Familiarisation with engineering / construction practice.
13. Experience within the telecommunications infrastructure industry would be highly desirable.
14. Ability to work within a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment.
15. Detail oriented and delivery focused.
16. Ability to organise, structure, and manage large quantities of disparate information.
17. Ability to engage with a wide variety of organisational and project stakeholders.
18. Strong MS Excel and MS Office skill-set.
