On behalf of our client, a growing global medical devices company, we are recruiting for a Sales Account Manager. This role will look after the European market with a hybrid work arrangement, splitting time between South Dublin office and remote work.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop distributors and MTO customers in European markets to ensure client satisfaction, achieve sales targets, and engage in key account management activities such as weekly calls and monthly reviews.
* Implement sales plans to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales goals.
* Negotiate and finalize deals while working with internal teams to assist with tendering processes.
* Track and report on account activity, providing monthly updates to management.
* Act as an advisor to customers on products, performing demos independently and devising solutions tailored to their needs.
* Provide feedback from clients and users to the Product Development, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
* Stay connected with stakeholders and follow through on commitments.
* Conduct bi-weekly market research to identify new opportunities and competitors' strengths and weaknesses.
* Recommend improvements to stay competitive.
* Participate in conferences, industry events, and professional development activities to expand the network and enhance knowledge.
* Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop strategies promoting our products and services.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research to facilitate informed discussions with clients and explore new opportunities in the Middle East.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* At least 5 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in a similar regulatory industry or in the Life Science sector, with a proven track record of achievement in the last three years.
* Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
* Excellent communication skills, including effective relationship management.
* Strong presentation skills, including the ability to create proposals tailored to customer needs and demonstrate effectively.
* Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, with approximately 25% of time spent traveling, mostly internationally.
