This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires a hands-on Assistant General Manager to support daily operations and uphold the property's commitment to excellence.
Role Overview:
As Assistant General Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure seamless operation of the property.
You will be actively involved in all aspects of the business, including service, operations, and guest relations.
This is a leadership role where you must be willing to step in and assist with tasks such as waiting tables, working the bar, and hosting guests during busy periods.
Your passion for hospitality and leadership skills will play a key role in maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the General Manager in daily operations.
Lead by example and assist with service, bar, and front-of-house duties as required.
Maintain exceptional guest experience through high service standards and attention to detail.
Train, mentor, and motivate staff to deliver top-tier hospitality.
Oversee reservations, guest interactions, and VIP experiences.
Assist with financial management, cost control, and achieving revenue targets.
Uphold health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with all policies.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
Candidate Requirements:
Must have the right to live and work in Ireland.
Proven experience in a similar managerial role within a high-value or luxury property.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and remain hands-on in various departments.
Physically fit and able to meet the demands of a busy hospitality environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
