Job Summary:
The Lead GSOC Analyst will be a key member of the client's Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) in Cork, Ireland. This position entails 24/7/365 continuous monitoring, event security, and travel management support for the client.
Key Responsibilities:
* Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
* Operate the GSOC in shift patterns as required.
* Provide high-level service to local and remote client sites and staff.
* Monitor and analyze security alarms, notifications, and surveillance systems.
* Conduct advanced-level event security monitoring and provide timely incident response.
* Coordinate travel and journey management by assessing travel risks.
* Oversee access control operations to ensure authorized personnel access sensitive areas.
* Maintain detailed logs and records of monitored activities, incidents, and responses.
* Assist in preparing in-depth reports on GSOC activities and identifying trends or potential improvements.
* Serve as a backup for the GSOC Supervisor during non-working hours.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective incident management.
* Lead and mentor Junior GSOC Analysts.
* Participate in regular training and development sessions.
* Support the GSOC Manager with additional tasks and responsibilities.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 4 years' experience in a security operational role.
* Relevant security-related certifications/qualifications desirable.
* Highly effective communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
* Strong ability to manage high-pressure situations and make rapid, informed decisions.
* Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
* Ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports.
* Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
Working Conditions:
* This position requires regular usage of computers.
* Manual dexterity may be required for occasional tasks such as reaching and lifting small objects.
* Close and distant vision abilities are necessary alongside focus adjustment capacity.
* Frequently required to sit, stand, and/or walk.
* Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Travel may be required.
