Senior Principal Accountancy Division at Brightwater
My client, based in North Dublin, is a privately owned company and is one of Ireland’s leading building contractors. They have a proven track record in a diverse range of sectors including Commercial Office, Data Centres, Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Large Residential Schemes, Leisure & Sport, Life Sciences and Pharma.
The Management Accountant role is to provide support to the Operations Director, CFO and Accounts Team and offers a dynamic and progressive working environment.
GENERAL DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Work with all departments and senior management to disseminate financial information.
* Manage and maintain the integrity of accounting software and contribute to its future development.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and the compilation of monthly reports for senior management team.
* Contribute to the development and management of financial systems/policies.
* Analyse cost and revenues, ensuring the integrity of financial information.
* Ensure Revenue compliance across all aspects of the business including prem taxes, VAT, RCT.
* Contribute to the facilitation of the annual audit.
* To develop expertise and provide support relating to specific construction finance issues.
* Support the payroll function.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
* 3 to 5 years accountancy experience, ideally within the construction sector.
* Fully qualified or part qualified accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is essential.
* Proficiency in IT (MS Excel, Accounting Software).
* Strong organisational skills including the ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks.
* Team player being able to take direction but ability to work on own initiative where appropriate.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
* Salary €40,000-€65,000 dependent on experience.
* Pension.
* Hybrid working available.
