Job Title:
Temporary Grade III Clerical Officer

Letterkenny, Co. Donegal
Job Type:
Temporary - 3 month initial contract
Payrate:
€16.32 - €25.71 per hour depending on previous public sector experience
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
2. Handle correspondence, both incoming and outgoing
3. Maintain and update records and databases accurately
4. Answer and direct phone calls, and respond to email inquiries
5. Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations
6. Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
7. Covering reception area
Skills Required:
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
2. Strong organizational and time management skills
3. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
4. Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Experience with office equipment such as printers and scanners
7. Basic understanding of data protection and confidentiality principles
Qualifications:
Previous clerical or administrative experience preferred; Leaving Certificate or equivalent
