We’re seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a global healthcare technology leader. You'll develop complex data pipelines and solutions across Snowflake, Azure, Airflow and other platforms, supporting data ingestion, transformation, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain robust data pipelines (Airflow, Snowflake)
* Integrate data from on-prem and cloud systems (Azure, Snowflake)
* Perform data transformation, cleansing, and aggregation
* Implement data masking and de-identification practices
* Optimise and monitor data systems for performance and reliability
* Use data quality tools (e.g. Great Expectations, Soda)
* Develop SQL stored procedures and complex queries
* Design logical and physical data models
* Automate CI/CD processes using Git and Git Actions
* Apply best practices in pipeline design, testing, and deployment
Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* Proven experience as a Data Engineer
* Strong SQL (including window functions) and Python skills
* Hands-on with Snowflake architecture and development
* Familiarity with Azure services: Blobs, Functions, Data Factory, Key Vault, etc.
* Experience with CI/CD (Git, Git Actions)
* Knowledge of data modelling (Star Schema, Dimensional, Data Vault)
* Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and Linux-based environments
* Working knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases
* Understanding of data warehousing principles, data access controls, and masking
* 3–5 years in Data Engineering
* Experience orchestrating Airflow tasks on Kubernetes
* Ability to containerise applications using Docker
* Strong communication and independent problem-solving skills
