Facilities Engineer
We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Engineer to join our team at a leading pharmaceutical organization based in Carlow.
Duties:
* Collaborate with other departments and out-sourced partners to deliver the Facility and Utility Support function in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
* Maintain Facility and Utility Support services to ensure a permanent inspection readiness state for the site.
* Support continuous improvement through active participation in projects, system failure studies, and incident investigations using methodologies such as 8SPS and RCA.
* Develop and execute Change Control related to the Engineering function.
* Participate in Lean measures such as Gemba and Kaizen events.
* Comply with Global Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines, regulatory requirements, and execute cGMP in day-to-day activities.
* Accountable for compliance via documentation completion, risk assessments, closing out corrective actions, participating in audits and inspections, and highlighting issues around compliance.
* Escalate issues in a timely manner to onsite stakeholders and support issue resolution.
* Develop new SOPs and review and update existing ones.
* Support site Reliability and Calibration improvement programs.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support project activity through inspection and safety walks.
* Collaborate with multiple partners including IPT, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Quality, Labs, Third Parties, and Vendors.
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred in an Engineering, Science, or technical discipline.
* Lean Six Sigma Methodology experience desired with Green Belt preferred.
* Experience within Facilities and Utilities support areas in a GMP manufacturing environment with a proven track record in identifying and delivering improvement projects.
* Knowledge of regulatory/code requirements to Irish, European, and International Codes, Standards, and Practices.
