THE ROLE
Tesco Ireland is currently seeking to appoint a F&F Clothing Manager who will have responsibility for supporting and leading a team of people to deliver the best 'home' shopping trip for our customers. This role will report to the Deputy Manager and will ensure that we are serving Ireland's shoppers a little better every day.
You will be responsible for
* Creating an inspiring and welcoming environment for my colleagues and customers
* Understanding the operations of the back area of the store, including delivery timings, schedules and where they come from, knowing the deliveries that can be accepted and those to be refused, completion of the Back Area/Warehouse documentation
* Be responsible for the store when the Store Manager/Deputy Manager are not present
* Ensuring that my team are fully trained and validated in their role
* Creating an environment of two-way communication, inspiring a culture of trust
* Coaching and managing colleagues to enable them to deliver their daily priorities and be in the right place at the right time to enable them to deliver our customers’ needs
* Implementing and maintaining promotion changes and event launches within a required timescale, including mark downs for sales, promotions or events
* Understanding how to merchandise to the company standard, following the five visual merchandising principles to the standard of Know Your Stuff on clothing
* Communicating to my team the range and products in my department
* Understanding and communicating to my team the purpose and importance of Modern Stock Takes in store, ensuring that it is not seen as a once-off event but a continuous process in all departments of the store
You will need
For the ‘F&F Manager’ role you have a demonstrated track record of:
* Being passionate about delivering the right way for customers and colleagues
* Being adaptable and agile in your thinking
* Delivering key objectives in a fast-paced environment
* Being the ‘Go To’ person for all queries for your department
* Shaping and influencing at the most senior level
* Previous Retail Experience preferred in a similar role
