As part of this role, you will provide strong administrative support to the HR function to ensure a robust HR offering is in place, reflective of an environment where quality, respect, caring and compassion are at the centre of all we do.Post: Full-time, permanent positionHours of work: 35 hours per week, flexibility around working days and times is an inherent part of this roleSalary: From €34,256 pro rata per annum dependent on relevant experience - Clerical Grade IV pay-scaleThis is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, progressive and talented HR professional who is looking to develop, practice and grow their HR skills and experience in an established, dynamic and progressive HR department.Responsibilities to include but not limited to:Providing an efficient and effective administrative service as part of the HR team.Ensure all HR record-keeping and filing is maintained to meet all accreditation and legislative policy requirements.Undertake assigned duties associated with all aspects of the recruitment cycle.Participate on and manage interview panels as required.Responsible for uploading of employee information and maintenance of HRMIS (Workday and TAMS).Timely and accurate processing of all employee applications and relevant correspondenceEnsure that HR policies and employment law are correctly implemented in the administration and calculation of entitlements.Deliver the role within the context of the Mission of Bon Secours and embrace opportunities to live and fulfil the Bon Secours core values.To practice and support policies, procedures, guidelines and new initiatives as directed and / or introduced by the hospital.Eligibility Criteria:The ideal candidate will hold a 3rd level HR qualification however an equivalent qualification in a related discipline will also be considered.Have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a HR DepartmentPrevious HR healthcare experience is desirable.Ability to prioritise own workload, work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic environment.Previous experience of recruitment, onboarding and employee relationsProven track record of managing high volumes of HR Administrative activity whilst ensuring the importance of discretion and awareness of confidential information.Must demonstrate an understanding of Irish Employment Law and HR Best Practice Procedures.Strong communicator with excellent people management, interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.Excellent IT skills to include MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook. Experience with a HRMIS system (e.g., TAMS and Workday) would be advantageous.The new Bon Secours Hospital Limerick is currently under construction and due to open in 2025. This new state-of-the-art hospital is based in Ballysimon to the east of Limerick City and will provide advanced medical and surgical care.
