Information Security Manager - €110,000 - Dublin CC/HybridA leading financial services firm based in Dublin CC is seeking an Information Security Governance Manager. This is a relatively hands-on role working in a small agile team alongside the Head of IT and CIO. The role involves taking full ownership of all InfoSec responsibilities, service improvement, reviewing current practices, IT Risk Management, identifying new threats, and assessing the effectiveness of tools and software.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and enhance the information security governance framework, including policies and guidelines.Manage and evolve the Threat and Vulnerability Management and Information Security Awareness processes.Contribute to the development of the organization’s Information Security strategy.Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation measures.Monitor compliance with information security requirements and report findings to senior management.Collaborate with stakeholders to address security issues and align processes with business objectives.Provide guidance on information security matters to employees.Ensure adherence to regulations and standards such as ISO 27001, DORA, and GDPR.Respond to information security-related queries from internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulators.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is preferred.Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are highly desirable.Strong knowledge of information security laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., ISO 27001).Proven experience in developing and implementing information security programs.Familiarity with financial services regulations is advantageous.Knowledge of data governance and hybrid work environments is a plus.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation Technology
