Job Title: Finance Executive
The Finance Executive will oversee daily financial operations and accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process and manage incoming and outgoing invoices.
* Reconcile accounts and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
* Prepare and monitor customer invoices, ensuring accuracy.
Financial Reporting:
* Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
* Support the finance team in preparing budgets and forecasts.
Bank & Cash Management:
* Reconcile bank accounts and process cash transactions.
* Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and expenditures.
Payroll:
* Manage and process employee payroll, and maintain accurate employee records.
Tax & Compliance:
* Assist with VAT returns and other statutory filings.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Inventory & Costing:
* Support the monitoring of inventory levels and cost analysis related to manufacturing operations.
* Assist with stock takes and reconciliations.
General Administration:
* Maintain and update financial records and databases.
* Provide support for audits and assist in gathering necessary documents.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience: 1-2 years' experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment. Minimum Accounting Technician qualification or equivalent.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level) and accounting software (e.g., Sage, Quick Books, or similar). Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax requirements.
Personal Attributes: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable: Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Knowledge of costing and inventory management.
