About the Role
Provide Solution Architecture guidance and advice in a multi-vendor enterprise environment, ensuring alignment with ICT strategies, Enterprise Architecture principles, standards, and roadmaps.
* Design solution architectures based upon functional and non-functional requirements, architecting and implementing large scale on-premise and cloud/hybrid-cloud business applications.
* Engage with various stakeholders to evaluate architectural solutions, define and get agreement on solution architectures, and ensure alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Document solution architectures across the architecture disciplines of Business, Application, Integration, Infrastructure, and Security, bringing all these views together into an organised solution architecture.
2. Prepare for and present solution architectures to Architecture Review Boards as part of enterprise IT governance processes.
3. Oversee the implementation of solution architectures, providing technical leadership and governance across development teams.
4. Offer thought leadership on emerging technologies, cloud computing, and digital transformation.
About You
Experienced Solution Architect, with proven experience working in a environment. Relevant certifications are a plus but not essential (e.g., Cloud certifications, Architecture certifications, etc.).
Requirements
* Proven solution architecture experience across the architecture disciplines of business, application, integration and infrastructure and ability to design large-scale applications and lead development teams, especially across on-premise and cloud/hybrid-cloud environments (in particular on Microsoft Azure).
* Demonstrated understanding of non-functional requirements (e.g. system performance, availability, scalability, etc.).
* Proven collaboration and communication skills both orally and verbal (English) with the ability to articulate solution architectures to audiences of varying technical fluency.
* Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with a track record of delivering and gaining buy-in for enterprise technology and associated business change.
