OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR | CORK | PERMANENT
Our client based in Cork is looking for an experienced Office Administrator to join their team.
The role is part-time, from 9:30am-5:30pm Monday-Wednesday with occasional evening hours if training is required. The successful candidate will provide general support to members and visitors, including answering calls/emails or face-to-face queries.
The Role
Main tasks will be usual office administration as well as some payroll and inventory management.
Experience with Google Suite & design software is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily Tasks:
o Provide general support to members and visitors
o Monitor membership changes
o Develop and maintain suitable filing systems
o Prepare and monitor invoices
o Process online payments
o Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, coordinating repairs to office equipment etc.
o Provide administrative support to sports captains as required
* Weekly Tasks:
o Process Payroll for all staff on a weekly basis
o Keep accurate financial records through Sage accounting software
o Inputting of invoices and processing payments
o Running reports as required for the treasurer and management
* OCCASIONAL TASKS:
o Process Garda vetting applications as required
o Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
o Maintain club clothing shop, orders and assist in annual stock take for audit
Requirements
* Minimum three year's experience in a similar administrative, customer facing role
* Proficient Sage accounting software experience
* Proficient in Word, Excel and Microsoft office tools
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Ability to handle multiple tasks as required
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
