You will be will be part of an energetic global team supporting PartnerRe L&H Business Units across the world, including Dublin, Paris, Zurich, Hong Kong, Charlotte and Toronto.One of PartnerRe’s core strengths is its technical know-how, built over many years of investment in the right people. We are looking for a highly motivated and technically strong individual with an avid interest in data management and at least 7 years post graduate relevant business experience. You are adept at handling practical data sets so that questions posed by the business can be addressed quickly. You enjoy collaborating with globally located teams and seek a challenging role in an exciting and fast-paced international environment.Primary responsibilities include:Data Warehouse / Report management:Prepare and ensure accuracy of detailed production and financial data sets to be used by L&H management, the PartnerRe Group and PartnerRe Legal Entities.Manage, maintain, support and modify the operational reporting processes of the L&H data repository and other reporting templates to reflect current and evolving business requirements ensuring consistency among reports.Manage ad hoc reporting requests and other deliverables.Maintain and ensure documentation of procedures and processes is continuously updated.Extract and prepare L&H management information for the L&H CEO and the L&H management teams for analysis and decision making.Quarterly and Annual Closing process:Establish timelines and monitor due dates for inputs to the reporting processes.Maintain and issue data reporting templates.Prepare and review inputs for use in management reports, including Operations Review, Audit Committee, Outlook and Board reports.Prepare and review inputs to global regulatory returns. Planning:Produce reports and templates for use by management in planning and analysis, including Financial Plan, Production Plan, Outlook, and Board reports.Coordinate, work with and supply information to other teams throughout the Company with respect to PartnerRe Group and Legal Entity reporting.Other:Lead and/or assist with existing and future projects.Manage a L&H intern and ensure deliverables are timely and accurate.Ensure compliance with internal controls, and liase with internal auditors.QualificationsAbout you:As an ideal candidate you have the following qualifications and experience:Undergraduate in Business, Accounting or other related field.Experience in data management.Life reinsurance or Life insurance knowledge a plus.Numbers oriented giving careful attention to detail, ensuring data is complete and of high quality.Knowledge of tools such as MS Excel, Business Objects, SQL, Power BI, PeopleSoft, and Salesforce a plus.Fluency in English.You also demonstrate skill as follows:Take ownership in delivering high quality work within deadlines employing excellent data storytelling skills.Comfortable interacting with and clearly communicating requirements and results with multiple levels of management.Excellent communication, highly organized, able to operate with a high degree of autonomy, a supportive team player ready to meet business needs working with others to solve problems.Openness for continuous improvement and can-do attitude.As a motivated, reliable and adaptable colleague, you proactively contribute to finding solutions by sharing information and your expertise.Additional Information #LI-HybridPartnerRe provides a working environment in which diversity is valued, where all employees feel welcome, respected, and empowered to perform at their best.
