Financial Controller Dublin €85k plus
We are currently looking for a Financial Controller for our client. The ideal candidate will come from a hotel background and have covered all aspects of the finance department with an excellent understanding of hotel revenue.
Role Requirements:
1. Financial Control - Preparation and delivery of Financial Budget
2. Active management of overheads – identifying and pursuing opportunities for cost savings/improvements in efficiency.
3. Financial Reporting - Management Accounts
4. Financial Projections – Monthly
5. Commercial Performance Monthly / Quarterly
6. Finance Operations - Management of Accounts personnel to ensure that processing takes place according to daily/weekly/monthly deadlines.
7. Review bank reconciliations monthly, resolving any issues.
8. Assist Accounts personnel to resolve issues.
9. Approval of overhead invoices/payments to suppliers.
10. External Auditors - Prepare for annual audit and manage all elements of the audit through to signoff.
11. IT Systems - Maintenance and renewal of the company’s IT hardware and subscriptions (in conjunction with external IT providers).
12. Maintain existing systems, in conjunction with system providers.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in a comparable, commercial environment.
2. Strong IT skills and appetite for continuous learning.
3. In-depth experience with IT systems.
4. Advanced Excel skills.
5. Excellent communicator with strong inter-personal skills.
6. Team player / good people manager.
7. Highly organized to focus on priorities and meet deadlines.
8. Ideal candidate will come from a hotel background.
