Effluent Treatment Plant Coordinator/Officer
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor the daily operations of the effluent treatment system, ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and company policies.
* Manage and carry out laboratory analysis and recording of results.
* Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
* Keep precise records of plant operations, including flow rates, chemical consumption, and discharge quality.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure compliance with environmental permits and regulations.
* Ensure that Health and Safety protocols and considerations are adhered to at all times.
* Contribute to identification, quantification, implementation, and presentation of equipment continuous improvement projects.
Requirements
* At least 2 years of experience in effluent treatment plant operations or a similar position.
* In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
* Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Capability to work both independently and within a team environment.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
