Digital Marketing and Sales Support Specialist - Blackrock, Co. Cork
Ward Personnel require a Digital Marketing and Sales Support Specialist for further developing and enhancing the Ward Personnel brand and driving sales growth across Ireland and Europe.
Job Description
This is a newly created role within the company and is based in our Cork head office, located in the Blackrock/Mahon area of Cork City. The role reports to the Head of Business Development with a dotted line to the Head of Operations, and it is a hands-on and varied role.
The role is split circa 50/50 between Digital Marketing and Sales Support – and both elements of the role are closely linked and integrated in terms of the overall aim of further developing and enhancing the Ward Personnel brand and driving sales growth across Ireland and Europe.
The key responsibilities of the role will include:
1. Developing and publishing content for all of our Digital Marketing channels including LinkedIn, social media and our website. This content will include posts, videos, blogs, case studies, testimonials, quarterly newsletters, industry commentary etc.
2. Work closely with our retained external Digital Marketing agency and the management team to develop our digital marketing strategy and execute on same on an ongoing basis.
3. Introduce AI and related tools to drive improve sales and marketing activities and support the brand development and drive inbound sales queries.
4. Work closely with the Head of Business Development team to manage all marketing spend and achieve best value for money across all of our marketing spend.
5. Drive continuous improvement of our website and work with our external digital marketing agency and website design company to drive SEO performance.
6. Support the sales team with all general sales and marketing activities such as assisting with E Mail marketing, open days/conferences etc, organising company information sales collateral and branded merchandise, and supporting all PR activities such as newspaper articles/podcasts/industry publications etc.
7. Support the Head of Business Development and the field sales team by updating our CRM system with relevant information on business development opportunities/leads etc (for example the list of new construction sites in the country which is updated weekly in our CRM system).
8. Support the Head of Business Development and the Field sales team with all promotional related activity such as client meetings, preparing client presentations and tenders, client entertainment, organisation of client events etc.
9. Support the Head of Business Development on a weekly basis with the preparation of sales reporting/metrics/KPI’s etc, including downloading and summarising data from our CRM system.
The successful candidate will:
1. Have at least 2 years relevant Digital Marketing experience and ideally have a relevant 3rd level qualification in this area.
2. Ideally have some experience in sales support and sales administration.
3. Be willing to work across both the Marketing and Sales functions which are interrelated and support each other.
4. Have an ability to write relevant and high-quality content for our Digital Marketing channels and be very familiar with LinkedIn and other social media channels.
5. Drive AI adoption to support our Digital marketing and sales campaigns and activities.
6. Have excellent attention to detail across all aspects of their work.
7. Be enthusiastic, positive, eager to learn and results oriented.
8. Be very strong on IT Systems Administration and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
9. Be a team player, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
