Role Summary
The Senior Manufacturing Technician will provide technical support and leadership in equipment maintenance, repair, and modification within the manufacturing areas. This includes monitoring machine output, ensuring cells are running according to cycle time, and meeting specific targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Equipment Installation and Validation: Install, configure, and validate production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct scheduled maintenance, diagnose faults, and perform repairs on mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
* Leadership and Training: Lead teams on maintenance and process issues, interpret blueprints and schematics, and certify/training manufacturing associates in production processes.
* Corrective Actions: Identify and implement corrective actions for manufacturing-related issues.
Team and Reporting Structure
You will report directly to a Process Engineering Manager, working as part of a team of approximately 20 individuals, comprising process engineers and manufacturing technicians.
Requirements
* Minimum Level 6 Qualification (Trade or Third-Level Equivalent): Hold a relevant trade certificate or third-level qualification.
* Desirable Skills: Possess electrical and mechanical skills, technical and fault-finding abilities.
