Job Description
To manage the execution of projects within the group, ensuring seamless collaboration and timely delivery.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out and implement equipment and process improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
* Evaluate and maintain day-to-day preventative and demand maintenance activities for manufacturing and utility equipment.
* Collaborate with the Site Engineering Services Manager to establish performance goals, schedules, and timetables for activities.
* Assist in managing and supporting manufacturing/utility/facility project plans, ensuring adherence to established timelines.
* Coordinate maintenance of manufacturing and facility equipment according to required maintenance schedules.
* Prepare capital expenditure requests for facilities, plants, and equipment, promoting resource allocation and optimization.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Biomedical, Electronics) or a relevant discipline.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Facility and Utility Engineering, preferably in a cGMP environment.
* Familiarity with Chilled Water, boilers, Potable Water distribution, Compressed Air Generation, LPHW, Building Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, Electricity, Building Safety Systems, and Building regulations is desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to redesign elements of manufacturing/utility/facility machinery to adapt to process conditions, improving efficiency and productivity.
Accountability and Supervision:
* Responsible for undertaking specific investigations and equipment monitoring to improve manufacturing performance.
* Continually review plant operations to ensure achievement of annual production and financial plans.
* Set targets and goals, reviewed on a weekly/monthly basis, to drive progress and improvement.
* Receive general instructions from management personnel regarding duties and responsibilities.
Leadership and Collaboration:
* Decision responsibility within the Site Engineering Services Team, managing and supervising external contractors.
* Establish contacts with all levels of management within the company and outside contractors/services engineers and commissioning engineers, safety inspectors, etc.
EHS Responsibilities:
1. Comply with EHS policy and procedures, demonstrating best practices in all work activities.
2. Attend required EHS training and medical surveillance programs.
