Job Title: Chef de Partie
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef de Partie to join our team at Curry & Spice in Galway. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting the head chef in menu development and food preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the head chef to develop new menu ideas and dishes.
* Prepare high-quality food to meet the expectations of our customers.
* Operate commercial cooking equipment safely and efficiently.
* Assist in the training of junior chefs to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
* Maintain the highest standards of kitchen health and hygiene procedures.
This is a full-time permanent position working 39 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in professional cookery and a passion for delivering exceptional cuisine.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in professional cookery.
* Excellent cooking skills and attention to detail.
* Able to work effectively as part of a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
