Sustainability and Innovation Executive
Location: Co. Kildare (Hybrid Working Available)
Type: Full-Time

As the Sustainability and Innovation Executive, you will work closely with the Head of Innovation & Sustainability to lead impactful programmes, support ESG goals, and drive forward-thinking initiatives. If you’re ready to make a difference, this role offers the perfect platform to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Sustainability Reporting and Compliance
1. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
2. Prepare detailed sustainability reports, including adherence to the ESRS framework.
Implementation of ESG and Sustainability Initiatives
1. Lead sustainability programmes, including ISO standards and ESG initiatives.
2. Collaborate with internal teams to integrate sustainable practices into daily operations.
Research and Innovation
1. Identify opportunities for improvement based on benchmarking and research.
2. Promote and support research-driven innovation projects.
Data Collection and Analysis
1. Gather and analyse sustainability metrics, ensuring alignment with KPIs.
2. Provide insights through comprehensive reports and presentations.
Project Management
1. Manage sustainability and innovation projects from inception to completion.
2. Identify partnerships and funding opportunities to support new initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement
1. Collaborate with suppliers and partners to enhance sustainable procurement practices.
2. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability and innovation initiatives.
Awareness and Training
1. Develop and deliver training programmes on sustainability practices and innovation.
2. Organise events and campaigns to inspire action across the organisation.
What We’re Looking For
Skills and Attributes
1. Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
2. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
4. Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
Knowledge and Experience
1. Familiarity with ESG frameworks, sustainability concepts, and regulations.
2. Proven project management and administrative skills.
3. Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools.
Qualifications
1. Degree in science, sustainability, or a related field (preferred).
2. At least two years of experience in CSR, ESG, or a similar role.
