Rochford’s Pharmacy are now hiring a Health and OTC advisor to work as part of our growing team of professionals. This role is designed to provide an enthusiastic and motivated customer service orientated individual with all of the necessary skills and experience to successfully manage the smooth running of the front of shop.
As a healthcare and OTC advisor, you will work as part of a dynamic team, delivering expert advice, working in a positive environment with excellent personal development opportunities.
As part of your role, candidates will be offered the opportunity to enrol in an official training course to qualify as a medicines advisor, and further training and career advancement opportunities will also be available.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Selling over the counter medicines and dealing with prescription customers
2. Giving expert care and advice on medicines, healthcare, and cosmetic products
3. Ordering and stock management
4. Cash handling
5. Maintaining and implementing store standards to a very high level
Essential Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a retail or customer service role will be an advantage
2. A highly motivated self-starter
3. Customer focused with the ability to deal with the public in a friendly, professional, and confident manner
4. Knowledge of stock control and live stock
5. A proactive approach to self-development
*** This is a full-time role. Must be available to work Saturdays ***
