Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Details: Full-time, permanent, Monday to Friday
Location: AIS Ltd, Units 46-49, Park West, Dublin, D12 XF62.
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. The role involves working with Priority ERP to maintain inventory records, track shipments, and optimize logistics processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
1. Receipt of Goods:
1. Oversee the unloading and inspection of incoming goods.
2. Verify shipments against purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.
3. Ensure proper documentation, including invoices, delivery notes, and customs paperwork.
4. Update and maintain inventory records in Priority ERP.
5. Ensure timely storage and allocation of goods.
2. Dispatch of Goods:
1. Process and prepare orders for dispatch according to customer and company requirements.
2. Coordinate with transport providers to schedule shipments efficiently.
3. Generate and verify shipping labels, packing lists, and necessary export documentation.
4. Track outgoing shipments and address any delays or delivery issues.
3. ERP & Inventory Management:
1. Utilize Priority ERP to manage inventory, process orders, and generate reports.
2. Conduct bi-annual stock inventories and assist in cycle counting.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve any system discrepancies related to logistics data.
4. Process Improvement & Compliance:
1. Identify areas for improvement in logistics operations and implement best practices.
2. Ensure all processes align with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
3. Maintain organized records of all logistics transactions and reports for audit purposes.
Requirements:
1. Have a minimum of one year of work experience in a similar role.
2. Leaving certification or equivalent.
3. Exhibit the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, displaying initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills in resolving technical issues and fulfilling job responsibilities.
4. Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
5. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
6. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Note: The successful candidate must hold full working status for Ireland, ensuring eligibility for employment in the country.
