Main Purpose of Role:
We seek an experienced and highly skilled Senior Design Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems design, Building services design and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop electrical systems, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD, Eplan Cableizer, Amtech (Trimble), Revit, Lighting reality and other similar electrical engineering design software.
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for various projects.
* Perform electrical load calculations, equipment selection, and power distribution design for MV and HV systems.
* Oversee the preparation of electrical schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.
* Develop and review electrical designs for solar and wind energy and building services MV, LV systems ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering/electrical service engineering or a related field.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and other electrical design software (e.g., Revit, EPlan, DiaLux, MATLAB).
* Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
* Experience in MV and HV electrical system design, including transformers, switchgear, and substations.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
